Primitive IS Reality
What is it about her that feels so real?
When it comes to cognition or anything psychological, the brain does not differentiate between real and fiction. Our thinking side my differentiate and understand things such as fiction, jokes, or entertainment but there is another part of us that does not separate these things.
This all ties back into my ideas about how our perception shapes our understanding of reality which is our understanding of reality. Our Subconscious Perception is part of that, perhaps the greatest part. The brain's "primitive systems" aren't primitive, they're Primary. This ties directly into the ideas about Principle and Attribute, our observing of the world from the bottom-up; Primitive is reality.
We only need to look at the way the Cosmos forms itself to know this is true. The brain has billions, perhaps countless receptors that directly respond to different stimuli already existent within our world. So then, the brain was created and formed in respond to what was already here. As Carl Sagan once said, "if you wish to make an apple pie, you mist first invent the universe." Receptors in the brain can be reclassified as Perceptors, and their function and meaning is their process; to perceive. And in order to perceive there must already be that which is to be perceived.
Understanding is not a pre-requisite for existence, it is a byproduct of it. It is what Conscious Beings do after everything else has already been done and taken care of by "something or someone" else; God, the Cosmos itself. It is akin to a dream, we only realize it was a dream after the fact. To realize it while we're dreaming most often ends the dream. Or like the film Inception stated, "it's only after we wake up we realize that something was actually strange."
Existence is a pre-requisite for perception; all that is perceived is of something prior, a prior act or event, a prior existence. Perception is the Here and Now, because this is the only place perception can exist. Within the here and now there is potential; what can be from what already is or will be. However to make those things real, to coin a new term, I call this Proception; to bring a willed perception into reality, to make it one’s reality; to make it real.
In fiction such as Halo, this is what's called Neural Physics. Which brings up questions, and rightfully so about the nature of fiction. Or what it is we call fiction, where it comes from. If the brain does not or cannot distinguish between fiction and reality, then what is the source of fiction. It is another realm misunderstood and mislabeled?
I’ve said before that God is the act of creating. This means that this Cosmos we inhabit, this Universe of ours is potential; The cosmos births and is potential. Biological Beings having and perceptors and thus being the perceivers of this potential and chooses and acts upon it. This changes the world, their world; proception. To know what is possible from what is or will be requires a never before mentioned cognition, or one rarely discussed; Preception. To know what is, can, or will be real from that which already or will exist. This is proof that both wisdom and knowledge is free of time.
This is the ultimate act of Procreation, redefines it.
Creation is not something God did, it is God. The Cosmos is the act, the Principle, the eternal unfolding of potential. This means existence itself is potential in perpetual motion; perpetual becoming. The Universe is the field of all that can be, where it can be. Potential is not abstract it’s real, inherent in the structure and nature of being. Life emerges in response to this potential, tuned receptors.
Beings perceive reality; the Now, in contact with what is. Through will, life interacts with Principle. Through Proception, it acts on what is perceived, changing reality. This shapes the world which means Life is a both co-creator and co-creation. Preception is the foresight to sense what can be, before it is. It is the mind’s capacity to stand at the edge of the possible, and to foresee what can be. It perceives the Principle ahead of time.
This is how we invent, imagine, or prophesize; we perceive ahead. Because Preception shows the mind can sense what can exist, the unmanifested. It proves that the field of possible knowledge is not bound to any timeline. It’s woven into the Principle itself. True wisdom is the resonance between Now (Perception) and the Possible (Preception). Proception bridges that gap, making the Potential, Actual.
Being is static, it is the momentary perception of what is, in the now. Only fixed and static momentarily. One cannot push from flowing water. the Mind is beyond both the knife and water’s edge. It manifests and makes those edges real. Being is a momentary crystallization, the freezing of that which flows. However what is frozen still has motion. Right Now is not the rest of your life or forever.
